ChainBreakers Recovery and Shed

ChainBreakers Recovery Program is focused on a target group of male ex-prisoners/addicts who reside in the Telopea area. The program provides an environment for ex-offenders and substance abusers to learn employment, relational and social skills in a non-threatening environment. It also includes as part of its core development Case Management and Life Coaching by qualified staff as well as group work.

With the help from volunteer mentors (in varying fields of expertise), clients will have the opportunity to learn self worth and begin to feel accepted by their community and themselves.

The Shed part of the program will engage a skilled tradesperson to teach clients employment and practical skills and provide further opportunities for positive mentoring relationships with other volunteers from the community.
