Emu Plains Womens Jail Chaplaincy

"Being God present is sufficient" is the corrective service chaplains' mission statement. A large part of chaplaincy at Emu Plains Correction Centre is being present and available as a listening ear. Also giving a word of encouragement and having a willingness to share Christ's love and prayer for needs. In addition we provide christian literature, cards to write to loved ones, wool and knitting needles, crochet hooks to help pass the time in a constructive manner and clothes for court/post-release.
