Lifegate Care

Lifegate Care is the care arm of Lifegate Church. Lifegate Care is about creating services that help people find freedom and purpose through the direct relief of poverty, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability or helplessness in the community.

We currently run -

Lifegate Does Breakfast: Every Sunday morning we provide a free bbq breakfast for people in the community from 9am.

Community Dinner: Every Wednesday night we provide a free, home-cooked meal, for people in the community from 6.30pm.

Although it is acknowledged that in some ways this is only a small step, it is the start of being able to demonstrate that we are committed to meeting community needs. Through the food programs we are also able to freely provide some basic necessities such as blankets, socks, toothpaste etc, and they have allowed us to engage face to face with people who are in need. We use our food programs as a way to find out how we can assist people in finding freedom and purpose in their lives beyond the breakfast and the community dinner.
