Brighter Futures - Early Intervention for Families

The Brighter Futures program has been a part of the Pathways Community (Pendle Hill) since 2007. Over the years we have helped and supported over thirty families. We have felt extremely fortunate to be a part of these families' life journeys and transformations that have taken place. While embracing their happiness and struggles as they work towards a brighter future which is attainable.

Over the last two years the Brighter Futures Program has been involved with the supported playgroup which runs over four terms and is coordinated by Pieta Champion and Vanessa Smith. The Group has been successful in allowing families to interact with their children and teaching them the fundamentals of play and interaction with other children.

We also organise parenting groups which run in conjunction with our play group which has been beneficial for our parents continuing education in helping them grow with their children.
