The Hills Frog Crew - Castle Hill

The Hills Frog Crew exists to support young people in their time of need in areas where substance abuse and antisocial behaviour are taking place in The Hills Shire. We are a team of local volunteers and we spend our Friday nights from around 1030pm till sometimes 4am out on the streets of Castle Hill handing out red frogs and meeting the young people of Castle Hill. Some nights are great and fun some nights are full of fights, and full of seeing some disturbing things that happen in the lives of this young generation. Our passion is to build relationships with these young people to see them live life to the full in a positive way, not live life to the full by drinking and partying their lives away making choices that can be life changing in a not so great way!  We believe it is our consistence that will bring relationship. After a year of this we are just starting to see this take root and we are being recognized and learning names and life stories of some of the teens.

We have a BBQ trailer that we just finished that has a plasma and xbox on one side and a BBQ on the other it is our hope that soon we will have this on the streets with us in the local area and use this to reach this generation in whatever way we can. At the moment we are in need of a car to transport the trailer to various events.
