East Nowra Men's Shed

The East Nowra Men's Shed aims to serve the men (young & old) of the east nowra community.

Though not exclusive, the shed is clearly focussed on high school age young men. We aim, through various contacts and building awareness, to present a resource for young men to engage in practical skills relevant to their lives, eg: Fixing, modifying skateboards and bicycles; making household items; computer skills; budgeting and finance comprehension. And we hope sooner rather than later to include basic motor mechanic skills (eg; strip and reassemble an engine).

Giving young men encouragement and skills to help them believe in a new future and hope for their lives; perhaps one vastly different to what they have previously imagined.
